Beauty Within

Rooted in my years of experience as a gemologist, the “Beauty Within” series showcases the appreciation of gemstones from both microscopic and macroscopic perspectives. Using acrylic paint and gel, I aim to create a splendid and glowing sensation reminiscent of expertly crafted gemstones. The choice of media—metallic paint for light reflection, acrylic gel for texture, wrinkled papers for depth, and acrylic paint for space—creates surprising interactions, reflecting the dynamic nature of both art and the gems themselves. Growing up surrounded by the allure of gemstones in a jewelry store, I draw inspiration from their glittering exterior and the timeless, kaleidoscopic beauty hidden within. This series aims to transport viewers into the mysterious, rustic, and always gorgeous world within precious stones.
